Can I join a mailing list for updates?
Yes, we'd love to have you on our list. The best way to make sure that you're one of the first to know when the deck (including the limited edition) is available is to click here to join our general mailing list or, if you want to know only about the Alice Tarot, visit our Alice Tarot page on Facebook.
How much will the deck cost?
We don't have final pricing yet, but the deck and kit will both be at "mass market" prices. The deck will probably be around $25 or 20 Euros, and the kit about $40 or 30 Euros. However, these are approximations, the price may go up or down a bit when the deck is actually published.
The limited edition version of the deck (with metallic overlay and including some extras) is likely to be around $100. Again, we aren't completely sure yet but this gives a rough idea of the final pricing that we're planning. As ever, the first printing of the limited edition will be the only printing—the deck will genuinely be strictly limited.
How can I follow the progress of the deck?
We'll be showing cards on our Alice Tarot page Alice on Facebook, on threads at Aeclectic Tarot—for instance here and here—and also, as mentioned above, in our Baba Studio mailing list, click here to subscribe. The page on Facebook will probably have the most frequent and up to date information, but hopefully any or all of these will keep you in touch with what's happening with the deck.
Can I put in a pre-order now?
Unfortunately, PayPal rules are that no pre-payment, however small, can be made for any item that can't be delivered in a fairly short time. As most customers pay with PayPal, that means that we can't take pre-orders until we actually have decks almost ready to go. However, that shouldn't be a problem—see next question!
But I'm worried that you'll sell out of the limited edition. Can I just send in an order now?
Thank-you for your enthusiasm and support, we appreciate that. The good news is, there will be more limited edition decks printed this time around. We think we'll print around 900-1000 rather than the 500 we've done in the past (we've learned that 500 leaves too many people without a deck). So we expect to have them available for several months after publication. Please do wait until we announce pre-orders.
